Moving up
Tonight at pole class I was told that starting in October I'll be moving up to level 3 pole.
I'm so overly excited about this, and ready to take on the challenging poses and spins.
It's kind of amazing to think that in February I started this pole adventure, and couldn't even do a spin.....I could only get about 1/4 way around the pole. And now, here I am, starting in October, heading into level 3. WOW.
This is not going to be a long blog. Mostly a quick update.
I wanted to share this one picture that I had my daughter take yesterday.
(it's a HORRIBLE angle)
But, for the past few weeks, the figure 4 layout has been a pain in my ass. I would get up into the start position, and lean back, but fear would keep me from falling down into the layout. I was able to do it at class last Thursday, but my pole is 5mm smaller, and it was a challenge.
However, here I am, having done the figure 4 layout for the 5th time in a row.
This picture might be a horrible angle, and I might look crappy, but I am so beyond proud of myself being able to get this move mastered!
From this pose, I prefer to dismount by going into a handstand and then ending in the splits.
**However** I was exhausted and trying to hold this for a picture, and my dismount ended with me falling to the side while trying to get into the handstand. Oh well. Falls happen!
