Night poling

I think I found a great daily routine for myself.  Especially since the kids love to do pole moves, and I don't want them doing it when I am not there to supervise.

OH!  Hubby straightened the pole.  We figured out that the girls have been doing running jumps onto the pole. So yeah. A constant barrage of 50-70 lbs hitting it full force.  *spoke to them about pole safety,  and the new aforementioned routine*

So, what I have been doing was basically at 3pm everyday is "my time".  I use that to workout (now dance) for about 40-50 minutes.

Well, today was ended early,  and after dinner hubby fixed my pole before playing his guitar.  While he played, I was messing around, showing him I was able to do the scissor move, and just doing basic stuff on the pole with the girls.

I showed him my hand stand, and he said he'd be impressed when I did it on the pole.  I tried it, and landed it!

Then I decided to ahead and try a full on handstand (against the wall)...And again, I did it, AND held it for an extended period.  Go me!

Went to mess around on the pole some more with the girls.  I wanted to try doing a basic leg hook slide/swing? It took me awhile, but after a few I got it.

I did it.

My leg is sore, sure to be bruised or tender tomorrow....Only to inflict more torture onto my body, But I am happy about it

Today was an excellent pole day :)
